Hiša eksperimentov is Slovenia's first science centre, based in Ljubljana. It aims to foster curiosity, creativity and critical thinking through hands-on experiments, interactive lectures, workshops and competitions for children, young people, teachers and families. Its activities include an exhibition of more than 50 experiments, school visits and group bookings, a national physics safe-opening competition for secondary school students, an elastomobile competition, and summer workshops. It also runs outreach through mobile activities, science festivals and online experiments, and takes part in the EU-funded STREAM IT project to promote gender equality in STEAM education.
