HISBAS

Founded in 2011, HISBAS is a non-profit association based in Belgrade, Serbia working on disability, children & youth, health.

HISBAS is a Serbian association founded in 2011 as the Association for Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida. It runs the HISBAS Centre in Belgrade, a rehabilitation and development centre offering manual therapies, robotic rehabilitation, sensorimotor exercises and individualised therapy plans for children with neurodevelopmental disorders and developmental difficulties, with support for their families. The organisation also provides training for therapists, educators and parents, including NAMI and MNRI courses, and organises a neurorehabilitation camp in Novi Pazar. Its work is funded through corporate partnerships, donations and sales of merchandise whose proceeds support the centre. It participates in the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and is registered on the Benevity platform.
