Founded in 2019, Historia Futurae is a non-governmental organisation based in Zlín, Czech Republic working on heritage, human rights.
Historia Futurae is a Czech non-profit platform and NGO, founded in July 2019, that combines augmented and virtual reality with historical topics to communicate history to a wide public. Its flagship project, the immersive exhibition Behind the Wall, is a free mobile AR app about the Uherské Hradiště prison, which was used for political persecution during the First Republic, the Protectorate and the communist era, including Nazi and communist-era victims. The organisation works on the principles of openness, transparency and collaboration, and carries out its projects with volunteer and donated support, supported by private donors, the town of Uherské Hradiště and the Zlín Region.
