Hope Ministries is a nonprofit organisation based in Mount Pleasant, Texas, that works to alleviate poverty for single mothers with children and senior women in Northeast Texas. It offers a safe living environment, education, Bible study, financial planning, credit repair and trauma healing within a multigenerational community model. Support is delivered through a community of volunteers who tutor children, stock apartments and give financial help. The organisation was launched in 2012 after its founders began helping a single mother who was living in her car. It holds 501(c)(3) status and has shared its model with groups in other US states and in Brazil. It also operates Worthies Way, a multigenerational community living programme for seniors.
