The Fundación Hospital Ortopédico Infantil is a non-profit foundation based in Caracas, Venezuela, running a children's orthopaedic and rehabilitation hospital. It provides specialist care for children from low-income families with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, including orthopaedic surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, occupational therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, and dental treatment. The foundation also trains orthopaedic and health professionals through postgraduate and fellowship programmes, and conducts research. Donations are collected through the affiliated Fundación Venezolana contra la Parálisis Infantil (RIF J-00102410-7), which states that all funds go to the hospital. Founded in 1945, the hospital originally treated patients affected by polio.
