The Humanitarian Law Center is a human rights non-governmental organisation based in Belgrade, Serbia. It was established in 1992 by human rights activist Natasa Kandic to document serious human rights violations committed during the armed conflicts across the former Yugoslavia, including in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. The organisation supports post-Yugoslav societies in promoting the rule of law and acknowledging the legacy of mass human rights violations. Its work includes documenting crimes, supporting the establishment of criminal responsibility of perpetrators, and publishing evidence so the public can learn about crimes for which no one has been held responsible. Its Transitional Justice programme works across several units.
