Humanitarna organizacija Dečje srce is a Belgrade-based humanitarian organisation that supports people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families. Its work includes social protection services, life-skills and independent-living programmes, and social agriculture projects that prepare people with disabilities for employment, such as harvesting, processing and packaging medicinal herbs and teas. The organisation also runs the Zvuci srca café and workshop in Belgrade and Niš, which employs young people with developmental disabilities. It works with local governments, employers, the national employment service and cross-border partners in Serbia and Montenegro, and funds its work through donations, corporate partnerships and EU-co-financed projects.
