International Photography Awards

Founded in 2003, International Photography Awards is a non-profit organisation based in Los Angeles, United States working on arts & culture.

The International Photography Awards (IPA) is an annual international photography competition open to professional, non-professional and student photographers from any country. Founded in 2003, it judges entries through a jury of photography experts, awards prizes including the International Photographer of the Year and Discovery of the Year titles, and promotes the appreciation of photography through an annual awards gala, a touring Best of Show exhibition, an annual book and photo festival events. IPA is a sister effort of the Lucie Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to honour master photographers, discover and cultivate emerging talent, and promote photography worldwide. Submission fees support the Lucie Foundation's programming, including the Lucie Awards, House of Lucie gallery and SNAPSHOP! youth workshops. The organisation is headquartered in Los Angeles, with an Asia office in Hong Kong.
