Kattens SOS

Founded in 2009, Kattens SOS is a non-governmental organisation based in Sandnessjøen, Norway working on animal welfare.

Kattens SOS is a Norwegian volunteer organisation focused on animal welfare for cats. It works to improve the status of cats in society and to help homeless cats find new, suitable homes. Its core activities are neutering, ID-marking, vaccination and rehoming of cats, along with information on cat welfare and responsible ownership. The organisation is funded entirely by donations from private animal lovers across Norway and through the Grasrotandelen scheme administered by Norsk Tipping.
