It also runs specialised programmes for men, women, adolescents and young adults, and provides community education through its Student Assistance Program. The organisation is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and serves as the Act 301 substance abuse authority for York County. Funding comes from government sources, grants, individual donations and patient fees, with patient fees covering under 20 percent of the operating budget. Its mission is to improve quality of life for individuals and families affected by substance use.
