Founded in 1990, Klima-Bündnis is a non-profit network based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany working on environment & climate, nature & wildlife conservation, human rights.

Klima-Bündnis is a network of European cities, municipalities and regions, founded in 1990 in Frankfurt, that commits to local climate protection. Members pledge to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and work towards a 95% reduction by 2050. The network offers members practical guidance, tools, campaigns, thematic working groups and political advocacy at European and international level. It also runs a long-standing partnership with indigenous peoples of Amazonia, supporting their rights and forest protection. The organisation is registered as an association in Frankfurt am Main and has offices in Frankfurt, Berlin and Brussels, plus national coordination in several European countries.
