About
Founded in 2010, Klokkeklovnene is a non-profit association based in Oslo, Norway working on elderly care, health, arts & culture.
Klokkeklovnene is a Norwegian ideell forening (non-profit association) based in Oslo that brings professional clown visits to nursing homes across Norway for people living with dementia. Each visit is improvised by two clowns and focuses on contact, interaction, respect and the residents' own abilities, with the aim of promoting joy, activity, creativity and quality of life. It offers kick-off courses for new nursing homes and deeper development courses for those it has visited before. Its work is funded by donations and corporate partnerships, and it offers companies tailored collaboration agreements. The organisation was founded in 2010 and its artistic director and founder is Patrick van den Boom.
