The Kolpingwerk Diözesanverband Hildesheim is the regional association of the Catholic social organisation Kolping in the Diocese of Hildesheim, part of Kolpingwerk Deutschland. It covers an area from Cuxhaven to Hann. Münden and from the Weser to the eastern border of Lower Saxony. The association has around 5,000 members in 95 Kolping families, including about 600 young people in the Kolpingjugend. Its work focuses on social justice, the world of work, strong families, lifelong education, political education, youth support and international solidarity, including aid for Ukraine. It also runs the Kolping family holiday centre on the Pferdeberg in Duderstadt. The association is rooted in Christian faith and Catholic social teaching and is open to all people who share its values.
