Kulturinitiative Sottrum e.V. is a non-profit association founded in 1997 to promote culture in the Samtgemeinde Sottrum in Lower Saxony, Germany. Run largely by volunteers, it organises a community festival, art exhibitions, open-air cinema, concerts, theatre productions, literary competitions and cultural trips. Many of its events are free of charge and aim to strengthen cultural life and social exchange in the rural region around Sottrum and Hellwege. It also lends a large circus tent to private and community celebrations.
