Landwege e.V. is a non-profit association based at the Jugend-Naturschutz-Hof Ringstedtenhof in Lübeck, Germany. It promotes organic farming, nature conservation and environmental education. The association runs an organic (BIOLAND) farm used as a learning site for schools, kindergartens, adults and families, offering farm visits, nutrition and cooking courses, and education for sustainable development. It also operates two kindergartens, the Naturkindergarten in the Wesloer Forst and the Landkindergarten on the Ringstedtenhof, and supports volunteers and a voluntary ecological year. Landwege e.V. was founded in 1987 by a group of Lübeck residents after the Chernobyl accident raised awareness of healthy food. It has been based at the Ringstedtenhof since 1993. The association works with local partners such as EXEO e.V., Vorwerker Diakonie and the Volkshochschule Lübeck. The Landwege-Umweltstiftung and the Erzeuger-Verbraucher-Gemeinschaft Landwege eG are legally separate organisations under the same Landwege brand.
