LAW & LAKE

Founded in 2014, LAW & LAKE is a non-profit association based in Konstanz, Germany working on justice & legal aid, education.

LAW & LAKE is a student-run legal advice organisation based at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Students and academic staff, supervised by professors and lawyers, provide free legal advice to members of the public, focusing on everyday disputes where the amount in dispute is too low to justify a conventional lawyer consultation. The organisation also offers its student advisers practical legal training through real cases, workshops and continuing education with partner law firms. It is recognised as charitable (gemeinnützig), operates with advisory branches across several German university towns, and is a member of the national network of student law clinics.
