The Lions-Club Bielefeld Gütersloh Marswidis is a women's service club based in Bielefeld and Gütersloh, Germany. It was founded in 1996 as the first Lions women's club in Bielefeld and is named after Marswidis von Schildesche, a medieval founder of a women's foundation in Bielefeld-Schildesche. The club supports children and young people, particularly those in need and those with special talents, mainly in the Ostwestfalen region. Its work includes a food donation campaign for local food banks, reading promotion in primary schools and libraries, health education in classrooms, theatre and music support for children, and support for a counselling service for children affected by domestic violence and an animal-assisted grief programme for children. The club also raises funds through events such as a cinema matinee and Christmas market stands, and sells wine from a partner winery in Rheinhessen, with proceeds going to projects of the affiliated Lions Förderverein Marswidis e.V. In 2022, the club contributed to tree planting in the Bielefeld forest with other Lions clubs in Westfalen-Lippe. Its donations of food and money have included more than 1,500 crates of food worth around 60,000 euro and about 6,500 euro in cash.
