About
Founded in 2014, Living Reefs Foundation is a foundation based in Bermuda working on nature & wildlife conservation, environment & climate.
Living Reefs Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation in Bermuda, formed in 2014, dedicated to keeping Bermuda's coral reefs and the marine life they support healthy. It restores damaged reefs through coral hatchery rearing, grow-out in coral gardens and reef planting, and conducts research and education. It works with government departments, locally based NGOs, the private sector and the scientific community, and aims to direct 85% of its funds to reef-related work. The foundation also promotes a tourism and conservation partnership for sustainable reef conservation and draws on a economic valuation study of Bermuda's reefs.
