The Mädchen- und Frauenberatungszentrum Bezirk Kitzbühel is a non-profit association in St. Johann in Tirol, Austria. It provides free, confidential and anonymous counselling for girls and women facing social, psychological, legal and economic problems, often linked to gender roles in society. Support covers crises, decisions and personal challenges, with a feminist, woman-specific approach. The centre also runs WenDo self-defence courses for girls and women, workshops and events, and a transitional flat for women and children in situations of violence or emergency. It is funded by donations, the State of Tirol, the federal women's ministry and municipalities in the Kitzbühel district, and is registered as a donation-receiving institution. Counselling is offered in German, English and Polish, by appointment.
