Founded in 2001 by parents of a long-term ill child, it supports seriously and chronically ill children and their families across Slovenia. Its work includes legal aid and advice on patient, education and social rights, help with documentation and second medical opinions, mediation in disputes, and emotional support for parents. The foundation is run entirely by volunteers, has no paid staff, and is funded only by voluntary donations from individuals and companies, without state budget support.
