It works on education and care for animals, focusing on animal welfare awareness and responsible pet ownership. Its activities include workshops, lectures, games, art and literary contests and actions aimed mainly at children, as well as training and professional support for people whose work affects animal welfare awareness. The association also advocates for better laws, monitors the implementation of animal-related policies and regulations, and promotes cooperation among breeders, cynologists, animal protection groups and other social partners. It is a member of the Union of Associations of the City of Sombor and cooperates with the Somborski Edukativni Centar and educational institutions. The association states that it does not run an animal shelter or rescue operation.
