MDPM za Goriško is a non-governmental, non-profit and humanitarian association founded in 1953 that operates in six municipalities of the Goriška region in Slovenia (Brda, Kanal ob Soči, Miren-Kostanjevica, Renče-Vogrsko, Šempeter-Vrtojba and the City Municipality of Nova Gorica). It works in the public interest to improve the quality of life of children, adolescents and families and to protect the rights of children and parents. Its activities include holiday camps and health camps in Trenta, knowledge camps for adolescents, creative workshops, counselling, lectures, humanitarian and material aid for families in need, environmental education in kindergartens, youth parliament and peace education projects, and volunteer coordination. The association runs its programmes with volunteers, partner organisations and public and EU funding, and also operates the Triglavska roža home in Trenta and the Kapljica Soče fund.
