MGconnect-Stiftung is an independent, charitable foundation under civil law that supports MGconnect, the interface between schools, vocational training and employers in Mönchengladbach, Germany. Founded in 2010, it finances career and study orientation activities for pupils, schools and businesses, which are free of charge for participants. Activities include career fairs, industry-specific Business-Tage, school bus tours to local companies, and STEM promotion through the zdi-Community Mönchengladbach. The foundation aims to connect young people with local employers early and to secure long-term funding for these programmes.
