The Michael Silwanyi Child Foundation is a Ugandan charity established in memory of Prince Michael Silwanyi. It works in rural communities in Uganda, mainly in Tororo and Mayuge Districts and areas near national parks, to address health, education, clean water, child welfare and sustainable livelihoods. Its activities include a child sponsorship programme, scholarships for children and seminarians, borehole construction and hygiene education, tree planting and agroforestry, awareness campaigns on infant teething and substance abuse, and support for a church building project in Mikera village. The foundation is the charity arm of Mission Africa Safaris, a Ugandan tour operator, and works with local Christian churches. Its work is faith-based, drawing on Christian values.
