MIOS is a Tuzla-based association that supports open community schools through interactive learning methods, professional training for teachers, school development projects and student-led community projects. It works as a network with schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia, and with international partners working on community-based school development. It also runs teacher training, a training centre, an educational resource database and an annual school-service awards programme.
