About
Founded in 1969, Mission Teens, Inc. is a faith-based organisation based in Audubon, United States working on addiction, religion & faith.
Mission Teens, Inc. is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian discipleship ministry founded in 1969 by Reverend James D. Bracken. It helps people struggling with life-controlling problems, such as drug and alcohol addiction, through a free, residential, faith-based recovery program. The program combines structured daily schedules, Bible study and phased responsibilities, and is run from a network of centers across the United States, coordinated from an administrative office in Audubon, New Jersey. Admission is on a bed-availability basis and is open to men and women. Residents must cover their own emergency medical expenses and undergo initial blood tests. The ministry is funded entirely by individual donors and churches, not by government or denominational funds. Donations are tax deductible. Most staff are program graduates who serve without salary. The ministry reports that since 1969 more than 25,000 people have entered its centers.
