Mouvement de palier is a French association founded in 2015 in Lyon that works on waste sorting and waste reduction. It trains and supports volunteer Ambassadors, who act as relay people in their apartment buildings, neighbourhoods and workplaces to encourage less waste and stronger neighbourly ties. The association runs programmes such as the annual Mets ta poubelle au régime challenge, supports shared composting projects, organises visits to sorting centres and offers training for professionals. It is recognised as an association d'intérêt général, so donations are partly tax-deductible in France.
