The Karel Výborný Foundation Fund (Nadační fond Karla Výborného) is a Czech grant-making foundation fund named after Dr. Karel Výborný, a theoretical physicist at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences who died in 2025. It supports short-term study trips abroad for Czech university and high school students, and for students from other countries visiting the Czech Republic. Typical supported activities include attending a scientific conference, a summer school, or a research stay at a university or research institute. Applicants submit a brief proposal describing the location, duration and purpose of the trip. After review by the board, the fund covers the costs of the trip for selected candidates. The fund also holds an annual benefit concert in Kolín in support of its work.
