NALED (Nacionalna alijansa za lokalni ekonomski razvoj) is a Serbian non-governmental organisation that promotes reforms to improve the business environment and local economic development. Its work centres on public-private dialogue between businesses, associations, citizens, civil society, local governments and state institutions. Recent areas include wastewater management, public procurement reform, non-tax levies and parafiscal charges, beekeeping and organic production, and education reform such as project-based and distance teaching. It publishes analyses, guides, online courses and campaigns, and supports selected associations in launching dialogue on sector issues. Its activities are carried out in Serbia, and it also hosts study visits and regional webinars with teachers from neighbouring countries. Its work is partly supported by USAID, which is acknowledged on its website.
