About

Founded in 2020, Nationality For All is a non-governmental organisation based in Banksia Beach, Australia working on human rights, refugees & migration, gender equality +1 more.

Nationality For All (NFA) is a non-profit that addresses statelessness in the Asia-Pacific region. It was formed from the work of the Statelessness Network Asia Pacific, which transitioned in October 2020 to an organisation registered in Australia. NFA promotes the rights of stateless people, including the right to a nationality, through advocacy for law and policy reform, submissions to UN human rights treaty bodies and Universal Periodic Review processes, and research such as regional mapping of citizenship laws and stateless populations. It supports community-led paralegal initiatives and works to strengthen access to education, health and livelihoods for stateless persons, with a particular focus on children. NFA works in close collaboration with partner organisations in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Nepal, and applies an intersectional feminist lens to its work. It places persons with lived experience of statelessness at the centre of planning, design and monitoring of its activities.
