It publishes policy statements on EU matters such as new genomic techniques, honey authenticity testing and the Common Agricultural Policy. Through its APIBIO brand it offers group organic certification for small and medium beekeeping operations. The association also runs training, conferences and public events, and offers membership categories for individuals, institutions and sponsors.
