NGO Marathon Sarajevo is an association based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded in 2007. It organises mass running events, including the Sarajevo Half Marathon, Run Fest and a series of around ten races each year, and promotes healthy lifestyles and an active community through sport and recreation. Its Sarajevo Running Club runs group training for runners of all levels. The association also runs humanitarian components in its events, which are linked to days such as World Car-Free Day and World Environment Day. Through the Erasmus-funded Sport!OP! project, it works on social inclusion of children and young people at risk. It cooperates with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its stated vision is to become the regional leader in mass street running events by 2025.
