The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation is a nonprofit organisation based in Columbus, Ohio. It works to reduce the risk of suicide across the state by reducing stigma, promoting evidence-based prevention strategies, and raising awareness of the links between suicide, mental illness and substance use disorders. Its work includes running statewide campaigns and youth programmes, training and education for providers and community members, supporting a network of local suicide prevention coalitions, and providing postvention support for suicide loss survivors through LOSS Teams and suicide fatality review efforts. The foundation also conducts statewide advocacy on suicide prevention funding and policy, and serves veterans, military families, youth, older adults and communities across Ohio.
