ÖHTB is an Austrian non-profit association founded in 1981 by parents of deafblind children. It provides counselling, care, housing, workshop-based employment and early intervention for people who are deafblind, severely hard of hearing or visually impaired, and for people with multiple disabilities. Its services include residential communities, semi-supported housing, daytime workshops, a transport service and a counselling centre for people with sensory disabilities in Vienna, which it describes as the only such centre of its kind in Austria. It also provides information on deafblindness for those affected, relatives, carers and organisations. The association is funded partly by the Fonds Soziales Wien and partly by donations.
