Founded in 2016, OPENS is a non-profit network based in Novi Sad, Serbia working on children & youth, democracy & civil society, mental health +5 more.
OPENS is a federation of youth associations based in Novi Sad, Serbia, founded in 2016 by six local youth organisations. It operates as a resource centre that strengthens young people, youth organisations and people who work with youth. Its work includes capacity building and grants for youth and civil society organisations, youth policy development and advocacy towards public and private sectors, and running the OPENS Youth Center. It also runs programmes on participatory budgeting in schools, youth mental health, volunteering, civic education and youth culture, mainly in Novi Sad and the wider Vojvodina region, with some work across Serbia and the region.
