Ordet & Israel

Founded in 1978, Ordet & Israel is a faith-based organisation based in Halden, Norway working on religion & faith.

Ordet & Israel is a Norwegian interdenominational Christian movement founded in 1978 under the motto 'The Gospel to the Jews, the Prophetic Word to the Congregations'. It believes in God's word and promises to Israel and supports projects in Israel, with a main focus on the messianic movement, including congregations, leadership training, evangelism, Bible printing and social work. Its work in Norway consists mainly of preaching, Bible teaching and organising trips to Israel, carried out by a preaching team that visits congregations across the country. Its youth branch, Joffi, visits schools and youth work and organises trips to Israel. The movement also runs local groups, publishes articles and a podcast, and operates an online bookshop. Its annual summer gathering is the Sommerstevnet.
