The Organizacija slijepih za Bar i Ulcinj is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation of blind and severely visually impaired people, founded in 1948 in Bar, Montenegro, and registered in the register of non-governmental associations. It operates in the municipalities of Bar and Ulcinj and is a member of the Savez slijepih Crne Gore (Union of the Blind of Montenegro). The organisation works to advance education, employment, access to information and independence for people with visual impairments. Its activities include a personal assistance service, a monthly audio magazine called Pravo na riječ, an audio library, a monthly film screening programme with adapted films, an in-house Braille printing press, sports and chess competitions including a darts team, cultural events, legal and professional advice to members, and workshops, seminars and conferences. It also runs a daily social club and publishes reports and advocacy material on disability rights, including discrimination in transport and social protection. Its governing bodies are an assembly, a management board and a supervisory board, and its work follows an annual programme and financial plan. Its vision is for visually impaired people to be empowered, integrated and included in society.
