Oslo Krisesenter is a voluntary crisis centre in Oslo that supports people who are or have been exposed to violence or threats of violence in close relationships, including women, men, children and young people. It offers a free, low-threshold 24-hour telephone service, advice on rights and services, and a protected temporary residence for adults and adults with children, including arrangements for pets. Its children's and youth team provides individual follow-up and trauma-sensitive care for children living at the centre. The organisation also runs volunteer-based activities, delivers courses for partner agencies and schools, and accepts gifts for residents. It is approved for tax deduction under the Norwegian tax act.
