Palpung Ješe Čöling

Founded in 2006, Palpung Ješe Čöling is a faith-based organisation based in Črni Vrh nad Idrijo, Slovenia working on religion & faith, education.

Palpung Ješe Čöling is a non-profit, non-governmental foundation in Slovenia and a branch of the Tibetan Buddhist Palpung congregation. It runs the Palpung Buddhist Center at Mrzli Log, near Črni Vrh nad Idrijo, which hosts public Buddhist teachings, meditation retreats and group rituals led by visiting teachers. It also holds regular meetings and shared meditation in Ljubljana. The foundation states that it is funded only by donations from friends and supporters, without government funding. Teachings are open to all, with programmes offered in English, Slovenian and Italian. The centre's stated aim is to preserve and share the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
