The French Water Partnership (Partenariat Français pour l'Eau, PFE) is a non-profit association created in 2007 that serves as the reference platform for French water actors from the public, private and associative sectors working internationally. It brings together more than 130 members across six colleges. The PFE carries out multi-stakeholder advocacy on water issues in international and European forums, including UN water conferences, World Water Forums, COPs and World Water Weeks in Stockholm. Its working groups address topics such as WASH in crisis and fragile contexts, aquatic biodiversity and nature-based solutions, water and the Sustainable Development Goals, water and climate, and water, soils, agroecology and food security. It also promotes French water governance expertise, including integrated water resources management, and produces position papers, reports and communication tools. Its activities are funded by its members.
