The Partnerschaft Rheinland-Pfalz / Ruanda e.V. is a registered association based in Mainz, Germany, that promotes the grassroots partnership between the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz and Rwanda, which has existed for over 40 years. It carries out or supports development and aid projects in Rwanda, with projects guided by needs identified by people in Rwanda. The association works on a principle of self-help and cooperation on equal terms, is politically and religiously neutral, and conducts public awareness work. It is recognised as charitable by the Mainz-Mitte tax office.
