PBI France

PBI France is a non-profit association based in Paris, France working on human rights, peace & conflict.

PBI France is the French section of Peace Brigades International, an association that protects, supports and provides recognition to local human rights defenders working in repressive and conflict-affected settings who have requested accompaniment. It works at local, regional and international levels, relying on volunteers from different countries committed to nonviolence. It also carries out advocacy, awareness-raising and training activities, and is based in Paris, France. Peace Brigades International has worked since 1981 in some of the most conflictive contexts; the French section recruits and supports volunteers and raises funds to back field programmes.
