PFE

PFE is a non-profit association based in Vršac, Serbia working on education, science & research.

PFE (Primenjena fizika i elektronika) is a non-profit association registered in Vršac, Serbia. It offers free non-formal science and engineering education to motivated high school students in artificial intelligence, robotics, applied physics, computer science and related fields. The association runs an annual series of camps. New participants complete introductory lectures and workshops and mini projects. Returning students carry out individual research projects guided by a mentor, write a research paper and present their results at the association's conference, after which the papers are published on its website. The team includes senior associates, many of whom work as engineers at companies such as Microsoft, Google and Intel or as university staff, and junior associates who are current students of technical faculties. Activities are supported by donations and corporate sponsors.
