Privaten Déiereschutz asbl

Founded in 1991, Privaten Déiereschutz asbl is a non-profit association based in Niederanven, Luxembourg working on animal welfare.

Privaten Déiereschutz asbl is a Luxembourg animal welfare association founded in 1991. It has no animal shelter of its own. Instead, it rescues animals in need and places them temporarily in volunteer foster homes, where they receive medical checks, neutering, vaccination, microchipping and tattooing before being rehomed under an adoption contract. The association relies on volunteers, runs a shop whose proceeds fund its animal welfare work, holds fundraising events and calendars, and publishes articles on animal keeping, care and rescue. It also operates an emergency reporting service for animals in distress.
