Pro Purpose
Rouse Hill, NSW, Australia
About
Pro Purpose is a non-profit network based in Rouse Hill, Australia working on poverty & hunger, water & sanitation, housing & homelessness +5 more.
Pro Purpose is an Australian nonprofit movement that helps small and medium businesses give to charitable impact. Businesses join as Pro Purpose Partners, build a Purpose Pledge, and direct their project donations to vetted charity partners working on poverty alleviation and disadvantage in Australia and overseas, including projects in Uganda, Indonesia, Zambia and Sri Lanka. The organisation provides a giving framework, impact tracking through a live Impact Tracker, and tools for sharing impact with staff and clients. Partner donations cover Pro Purpose's operating costs, so that 100% of project donations go to the chosen projects. Pro Purpose is governed by a board of directors that screens charity partners, and it aims to unite 70,000 profit-for-purpose businesses to give 1 billion dollars toward alleviating poverty and disadvantage by 2035.
