About
Rådet for psykisk helse is a non-profit network based in Oslo, Norway working on mental health, children & youth, employment & skills.
Rådet for psykisk helse is a Norwegian non-profit organisation working for better mental health for everyone. It works in areas including inclusive working life, prevention of mental health problems, and mental health in schools and kindergartens. Founded as an umbrella for 35 member organisations concerned with mental health from different perspectives, it runs knowledge resources, courses such as Hverdagsglede and Psykisk oppvekst, and administers project funding in the field. The council works to shift mental health policy from a focus on coercion and psychiatry towards equality and good lives, with a particular focus on children and young people. Its activities are based in Oslo and cover Norway nationally.
