RAF

RAF is a non-profit network based in Cornil, France working on environment & climate, nature & wildlife conservation.

The Réseau pour les Alternatives Forestières (RAF) is a French network of citizens, foresters, wood professionals, forest owners and collectives promoting gentle, ecologically responsible and socially supportive forest management. It connects and supports local initiatives, creates shared forest commons, collectively acquires and manages forests, provides training in alternative forestry practices, and documents and promotes forest alternatives. Membership is open to individuals and organisations that agree with its charter, and the network publishes a bi-monthly newsletter, Le Raffut, runs a classified-ads space and organises an annual general meeting. Its activities are based in France.
