Recyklohraní

Founded in 2008, Recyklohraní is a non-governmental organisation based in Praha 6, Czech Republic working on environment & climate, education, water & sanitation.

Recyklohraní, o.p.s. is a Czech non-profit public benefit company that runs the Recyklohraní school programme, which has operated since September 2008. It provides environmental education to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools across the Czech Republic, focusing on waste prevention, sorting and recycling, and water conservation. Schools that join receive free collection containers for used batteries, small electrical equipment, mobile phones and toner or ink cartridges, and the programme organises the collection and transport of this waste for recycling. It also offers teaching materials, the EKOABECEDA publication series, lecturer visits, an annual points-based school competition and prizes. The programme is co-financed by battery and electrical waste take-back companies ECOBAT and ELEKTROWIN. The organisation is based in Prague 6.
