About
Founded in 2003, Redalyc is a non-profit network based in Mexico working on science & research, education.
Redalyc (Sistema de Información Científica Redalyc, Red de Revistas Científicas) is a non-profit open-access indexing system and network of scientific journals owned by the academic community. It was founded in 2003 as an academic project of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México and originally focused on social sciences and humanities journals in Latin America. It now indexes quality-certified, non-commercial open-access journals from any region, provides tools such as the Marcalyc XML JATS marking system and indicators for journals, countries and institutions, and runs thematic semantic collections. Redalyc works to make science a common public good, free to read and free to publish, with no fees for authors or readers.
