About
Founded in 2008, Réseau Intermed is a non-profit association based in Lyon, France working on health, mental health, addiction +2 more.
Réseau Intermed is a French association created in late 2008 by Adoma to help vulnerable and isolated people access and stay in health care. It works through health mediation and coordination carried out by nurse-mediators and field coordinators, with a go-to-them approach. Its target groups include older people, migrants and refugees, asylum seekers, social housing tenants and people in precarity, including those with mental health problems or addictions. The network operates in around 17 departments across Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Île-de-France and Grand-Est, with headquarters in Lyon. Beyond direct support, it runs collective health-prevention actions and offers training on mental health, addiction and crisis situations, and it is a registered training organisation. Funding comes from private donors, including tax-deductible donations, and from an EU-co-financed asylum health mission. The organisation has more than sixty staff and a board of up to sixteen members.
